Love Ends On Time by Blaininc

Melbourne singer and producer BlaininC puts out his new slow synthwave single "Love Ends on Time" through Slice Records on 24 October 2026 It's his first solo release on the label, following this year's Still Life EP with Robodop Snei as Interstellar Travellers.

The name BlaininC is literal: Blain, in the scale of C. Blain Crellin learned classical piano in the 1970s, played synthesisers through the 80s, and from 1989 to 1991 presented the 2am to 6am shift on Melbourne's Triple R. He started releasing music as BlaininC in 2021. Since then he's put out the Street Walker EP and the Gravity in Motion LP (2022), the seven-track Water World LP (2025), and the single "I'm Home (The sky it falls)" in May this year.

“Love Ends on Time” is slow, moody synthwave built around Blain’s voice. Hazy synths and a low, rolling bassline give it a late-night pull, and the vocal keeps it warm and human.

Quintessence Reanimated- A Passion; Near Rest

Professor Lindenbrook is an electronic music project which takes its name from the protagonist of Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth. A childhood encounter with a musical rendering of the story which fused classical music with electric keyboards originally helped shape a love of musical fusion. However, this story also reflects conceptual and metaphorical dimensions of the project’s artistic exploration. Drawing on eclectic influences, Professor Lindenbrook hand-crafts expressive electronic works that emphasise originality and embrace imperfection, subtle variation, and improvisation to bring warmth and narrative depth to his electronic sound.

Quintessence Reanimated- A Passion; Near Rest

Born of a muse found in a coffee shop on cold winter mornings, this track is a re-animation of Professor Lindenbrook’s passion, after a lengthy hiatus, for the electronic expression of sound in time. The track is a journey to find a voice again, finally culminating in an improvised keys section, unedited and captured as it was played, with flaws, but true in its expressive nature. This track is dedicated to this muse and our friendship.
